New Fleet Not Waste-d On Moreland Residents

by Citywide | 21.12.2011
The preceding weeks have seen Citywide’s Environmental Division take possession of 13 new waste vehicles.

Destined to be utilised for service on the City of Moreland’s Melbourne waste contract, the welcome additions will service more than 32,000 homes throughout the municipality and be involved in the collection of domestic green waste, recycling materials and general waste items.

Having provided waste management services to the people of Moreland’s southern region for the past fifteen years, the gleaming new trucks herald the commencement of Citywide’s re-win of the waste contract, which will see Citywide serve Moreland residents for a further seven years.

Commenting on the new capital purchase, Citywide’s Divisional Manager for Environmental Services Chris Ryan said, “We were extremely pleased to have been re-awarded the waste services contract.”

“Service delivery has always been paramount to our company. By providing Moreland’s residents with a convenient, safe and reliable waste management solution that meets their needs, I know Citywide can prove yet again its worth to both residents and Council,” said Chris.
