Citywide’s new website has now launched after a 12 month redevelopment phase. The new website is multimedia rich; jam packed full of fresh and engaging content and user-friendly.
But above all, it tells the story of our daily work; the maintenance we perform to public assets; the improvements we make to community life; and the care we take to make the environment safe, green and clean.
Websites have become extremely important tools for businesses in all aspects of operations, and speak volumes about the organisation they represent. While the power of organisations once existed in what they concealed we are now in a new age of transparency where content is king and the power has shifted to those who publish their knowledge, share their experiences and open their doors to the markets in which they operate. With the proliferation of social media the demands and expectations of the corporate website have increased and it is no longer enough to develop a static website and expect it to work for you.
As new tools and technologies become available each day Citywide saw a redesign as an opportunity to enhance the current features of our website that work, build in features that add value and retire features that are no longer serving us. The needs of our customers and employees were taken into account through-out the process, helping us create a seamless and engaging online experience.
Whether you view it on your desktop or tablet, (a mobile specific site will be launching later this year) our new site includes a project gallery (showcasing works past and present), a blog (featuring posts by subject matter experts and passionate staff), videos (documenting project case studies as they happen), multimedia gallery (of major projects and works-in-progress), as well as integrating our social media platforms.
The rebuild of the Citywide website is imperative to the continued development of the organisation and has become increasingly important to support online and offline activities. With this new online tool we will be able to give a face to the Citywide brand and a voice to our team.
