Citywide played an integral role in this year’s 21st Annual National Works and Engineering Conference held in Bendigo on September 25th and 26th, as part of their ongoing membership of the Municipal Works Officers Association (MWOA).
Since 2008, Citywide has partnered with MWOA in a bid to develop and promote regional infrastructure events. The results of this collaboration have ranged from a civil innovation series held at Citywide’s North Melbourne Asphalt Plant to promote sustainable asphalt solutions, to working closely to expand road stabilisation services regionally.
Citywide’s strong presence at the conference didn’t go unnoticed with services front and centre in the minds of key stakeholders. With representatives from across Citywide’s three divisions exhibiting, a truly integrated services solution was on display. In addition to current regional strengths in Infrastructure, Environmental services including street sweeping and Dry & Wet Hire along with innovative Open Space services such as Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) and root barrier (photo below) capabilities were in focus.
Ten Citywide representatives attended the conference to form part of the strongest represented team at the event.
They offered a wealth of knowledge to attendees cementing Citywide’s reputation as one of the leading service providers in the regional market today.
