IT’S been a year since Citywide welcomed Technigro into the Citywide Group, further expanding our capacity to maintain market leading innovative services across Australia’s bustling eastern seaboard.
Technigro’s acquisition has strengthened our horticultural capabilities in the market by extending our offering to include advanced weed and vegetation management services.
Northern Region Executive General Manager Mike North says it has enabled Citywide to broaden its footprint and become leaders in sustainable practices.
“When Citywide first commenced operations in 1995, it was initially focused on waste collection and transfer services. Shortly after, the company expanded to deliver the full scope of civil infrastructure, open space and environmental services,” Mike said.
In what was hailed a clever strategic investment, Technigro’s acquisition has significantly strengthened Citywide’s position in Queensland, while adding valuable intellectual property to our maintenance and landscaping operations across Australia.
“Our long term goal is to have a national presence spanning from coast to coast. Technigro’s inclusion to the Citywide Group will certainly help us to connect those dots and expand even further.” Mike said.
More recently, Technigro scooped a number of awards including the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards, and has been recognised nationally for its innovative approach towards vegetation management by Parks and Leisure Australia.
“They’re a great group of really enthusiastic and passionate people who focus on service excellence and innovation,” Mike said.
Technigro’s Business Manager Nick Bloor says the acquisition has proven to be a perfect fit between the two companies, and is helping facilitate a number of exciting new business opportunities.
