Earlier this year, Citywide secured a five-year contract with the City of Casey for the maintenance of premier parks and prominent building surrounds.
Led by Supervisor Scott Adams and Operations Manager Adam Nelson, the team are local to the municipality, highly experienced and includes a qualified Turf Curator. “The team are really proud that the City of Casey has put their trust in us to maintain their best and highest profile parks,” said Adam.
“Over the past seven years, Citywide has built a strong relationship with the City of Casey Council and community,” said Adam. “And we have developed a reputation as a high-quality service provider. We promote a safe working culture and a positive attitude to responding to all customer requests.”
We began works in March, and already our team’s high attention to detail has resulted in improvements to the sites. The feedback has been great; as a Gardens Coordinator from the City of Casey said, “Please pass on my appreciation to your staff for the great work done at Ray Bastin Reserve. I went there yesterday to conduct an audit and the park looked fantastic. It was the best I have seen it look in a while.”
The crew are responsible for maintaining approximately 35 sites, including Berwick Springs Wetlands Reserve, Casey Central Town Park, Ray Bastin Reserve, Banjo Paterson Reserve and Wilson Botanic Park (Wilson Botanic Park alone is a 39 hectare site). Our services include mowing and blade-edging lawns (with state-of-the-art turf machinery), weeding, mulching, garden bed planting and maintenance, and tree branch collection and disposal.
We have a depot in the City of Casey at Hallam, which means travel time to work sites is kept to a minimum. We also have teams providing open space services in the surrounding councils of Cardinia, Yarra Ranges and Knox. And as a great example of our diverse capabilities, we also provide the associated traffic management services that are required for these works.
