Citywide has been successful in being awarded two new City of Melton service contracts and securing a further term for a third existing contract.
The new business includes the provision of Parks Maintenance Services, plus Road and Drainage Maintenance Services, with the existing contract being for Tree Maintenance Services.
Citywide Chief Executive Officer, Chris Campbell said, “Being awarded multiple contracts from our bundled offering proposal presents an important opportunity for Citywide to serve one of our key customers via a cross-functional approach.”
“This approach is in keeping with our customer focused business model, which combines our expertise and services across the various business streams to allow us to provide solutions to the City of Melton’s broad and varied needs.”
Cr Kathy Majdlik, Mayor of Melton City Council, welcomed the opportunities presented by the contracts. “This delivery model will optimise service delivery across the three services. It will also provide greater flexibility and agility, with a single provider being able to redirect resources across three services to address peak periods or emergency events,” the Mayor said. “We are looking forward to delivering the benefits of increased value to our municipality as the contracts progress in 2016.”
