by Citywide | 12.05.2016
Citywide recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Huddle, confirming them as our major community partner. Citywide CEO, Chris Campbell and The Huddle’s Cameron McLeod signed the MoU at The Huddle in North Melbourne on 15 March 2016. The signing was also significant as marking the start of Citywide’s new community engagement program.

The Huddle was established in 2010 in partnership with the North Melbourne Football Club, the Scanlon Foundation and the Australian Multicultural Foundation, and works to build more socially inclusive communities by supporting young people from the cities of Melbourne and Wyndham to learn, grow and belong.

Since its inception, over 50,000 young people have been supported through The Huddle’s award winning programs.

The Huddle works to increase self-esteem and belief in young people aged 12-25 as well as a shared knowledge and experiences to promote learning, growth and belonging within the community.

On partnering with The Huddle, Chris Campbell said, “We look forward to working with our new North Melbourne neighbour in promoting and supporting social inclusiveness through The Huddle. As caretakers of community assets Citywide across Australia knows firsthand the importance of community cohesion through engagement and social interactions that promote inclusiveness and harmony.”
