Citywide has developed a unique works methodology that delivers significant cost, time and efficiency benefits. In consultation with utility companies and local government, we remove the need for traditional temporary restorations, undertaking permanent restorations as soon as utility companies have completed their work.
Traditionally, restoration methods have been conducted in two stages; a temporary restoration, of cold mix asphalt is applied to the road or footpath followed by permanent restoration at a later date. Permanent restorations may not be completed for up to six months after, during which time the temporary patch deteriorates to such an extent that utility companies, contractors and local governments are exposed to unacceptable public liability risk and negative community reaction. When a series of works are undertaken, Citywide move in after each part is completed, saving time and securing the site.
