The work of Citywide’s City of Sydney Open Space and Cleansing and Infrastructure teams has been recognised with an international award.

HJ Foley Rest Park in the suburb of Glebe was awarded a Green Flag for FY2019 in recognition of well-managed, high quality open spaces.

It is the latest in a string of Green Flags awarded to Sydney parks maintained by Citywide, following wins for Pirrama Park in 2016/17 and 2015/16 and also the city’s centrepiece, Hyde Park in 2012/13.

Citywide crews were also recognised when Fitzroy Gardens and Royal Park in the City of Melbourne landed Green Flag awards in 2017.
